Long-term meditation is a practice where a person trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness designed to promote relaxation, build internal energy, or develop a desired mental state. It can range from 20 minutes to an indefinite amount of time. A flotation tank is another means of focusing the mind by eliminating all external physical stimuli.

In this clip, Tim Ferriss discusses his experience with flotation tanks and his desire to continue experimenting with this form of meditation.
